Eryn Petersen

 

Eryn joined the Lighthouse Academy in 2025. He was born and raised in the Northern Suburbs of Cape Town and matriculated from The Settlers High School. He completed a Bachelor of Laws from 2019 to 2022. He later earned a Master of Laws in Commercial Law from the University of Cape Town in 2023.

Eryn has a strong interest in all areas of Commercial Law. During his studies, he actively participated in various societies, engaged with complex legal matters, and mentored underperforming students through the Top Achievers Programme.

He also served as the Fundraising Manager for UWC’s Street Law programme—an initiative dedicated to making legal knowledge more accessible to disadvantaged communities across the Cape Metropole.

Beyond his legal pursuits, Eryn enjoys reading, spending time with his family, and travelling, with a goal to visit each country in Africa during his lifetime. He is eager to join the Academy and Lighthouse Law, where he looks forward to developing his expertise in commercial law and gaining valuable experience from the firm’s distinguished team of attorneys
